The person behind the punchline

A little backstory.

Trevor Moore was a comedian, writer, director and musician who co-founded the Whitest Kids U' Know. He wrote and performed with the troupe on its television sketch series, which ran from 2007 to 2011, first on Fuse and then IFC. Its sketches pushed ordinary conversations and recognizable institutions toward increasingly absurd and often dark conclusions. Moore also co-wrote, co-directed and starred in Miss March with troupe member Zach Cregger.

His solo work combined comedy with songs, including the releases Drunk Texts to Myself, High in Church and The Story of Our Times. He also worked on The Trevor Moore Show for Comedy Central. Moore died in 2021; his work continues through the troupe's recordings and later projects.
