Bigfoot vs. Gravedigger
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Charlotte shows off her new boyfriend Bob, better known as the famous monster truck driver Bigfoot, to her friend Barbara at a house party. The mood sours when his sworn rival Gravedigger turns up, having heard it was a monster party. Rather than leave, Gravedigger heads for the punch by bulldozing straight through guests and furniture, and Bigfoot answers by flattening the bookshelf. Their one-upmanship builds to a stunt neither driver will back down from, and the sketch closes on a gravestone.

Say it with us
Highly quotable.
Oh, I heard there was a monster party, so I thought I'd truck on by.
There's not room enough for the both of us at this party.
I wonder if they have that book I read.

A little extra
Notes from the archive.
Bigfoot and Grave Digger are two of the best-known real monster trucks. The closing gravestone names the driver Bruce "Bigfoot" Collins (1975–2006), although Charlotte calls him Bob throughout.
