Target Thanksgiving Ad
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
What starts as a warm Target ad for turkeys and side dishes soon admits that hosting Thanksgiving also means hosting the whole family. Each discount is then matched to a particular guest: a meat-free loaf for the niece's preachy new boyfriend, a football for the uncle who treats the backyard game like the playoffs, motion-sensor lights for the cousin who sneaks smokes in the driveway, noise-cancelling earbuds for when Grandpa starts on politics, dog food for the relative who brought a pet anyway, toys for the children to wreck in the basement and plenty of wine to sit through Grandma's news of who has died and a crypto lecture. The worn-out hosts end the night facing a sink of dishes, a cousin demanding his car keys and guests on an air mattress, while the ad cheerfully proposes doing it all again at Christmas.

Highly quotable.
But hosting Thanksgiving also means hosting your family. And that can be a whole damn thing.
I don't eat anything with feathers anymore.
Target, let's do it all again at Christmas.
