The premise

Here’s the bit.

Douglas Jackson and a fellow Black Republican, both in glasses, leather jackets and dad jeans, have offered a vanload of Black voters a ride to their polling station on election day. Pretending to be devoted Democrats, they skip the turn, promise a shortcut and loudly curse Republicans and voter ID laws while the van circles the neighborhood and the minutes before closing tick away. A staged collision with a third member of the group, who vows to heal on everyone's tax dollars under the Affordable Care Act, buys more time until a young passenger notices that all three men are dressed exactly alike. The exposed trio scatters down the street, and the voters peel a Democrats decal off the van to find the real logo underneath.

The funny people

Meet the cast. 7

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

You know how us Democrats like a shortcut, like government spending to prop up the economy.

You see the color of our skin, don't you? How could we not blindly vote Democratic?

I'd be pissed. I'd be royally pissed!

Behind the scenes

The people who made it.
