The premise

Here’s the bit.

A man stops to help a crying boy on a park bench and is promptly overpowered by a band of children, who wheel him off in a cage to their hidden cave. There he meets Toby and Tasha, a couple who have been prisoners for two years. He proposes the obvious escape plan of roughing up the boy who carries the key, but his fellow captives are horrified at the idea of hitting a child. He lures the keyholder with a dirty magazine, grabs the key and walks free, only for the remaining adults to scold him for setting a bad example. The young ringleader then announces a reprisal against the prisoners in the stilted tone of a war-film commandant, and the captives' instinct to correct and encourage him wins out over any thought of escape.

Highly quotable.

Every tenth one of you will be taken out and shooted.

Actually, Josh, it's taken out and shot.

Don't correct him, Toby. You'll stifle him.
