The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
A bartender and his customer barely interrupt their conversation when a stranger starts assembling a gun on the counter. The customer keeps talking about his apple-butter business while the bartender gradually notices what their visitor is doing. The gunman identifies a woman across the room as his target. At her table, a conversation about a missed romantic connection seems to explain the threat, until Courtney joins in and turns the apparent misunderstanding into a very different joke.
