Proper Boiler Maintenance

Trapped below deck as their yacht takes on water, four formally dressed passengers beg the maintenance man Clark to repair the failing fuel pump. Clark takes breaks, mocks their ignorance and keeps blaming the owners for years of neglected boiler upkeep, dodging every question about whether he can actually save the ship. When he notes how painful drowning is and points out a paring knife, one terrified couple opts for a mercy stabbing, only for Clark to return moments later and announce that the problem was a switched-off power strip. He then signs off with a cartoon-style farewell card that leaves the survivors baffled.
