The premise

Here’s the bit.

The Court of Historical Law hears a complaint from the future Peter III of Russia, who accuses a rat of destroying one of his soldiers. The judge tries to make sense of the evidence as Peter produces a witness from his collection of toy troops. Treating damage to his miniature army as a military offence, Peter presses ahead with a trial and reveals that he has prepared an equally miniature punishment.

Highly quotable.

A mouse with delusions of grandeur.

Nothing less than the monster deserves.

Well, this can't get any weirder.
