The premise

Here’s the bit.

At the dinner table, Bobby Terrance would rather pump a dumbbell than pass the salt, while his blustering father and nagging mother hound him about taking out the garbage. Narrating his own legend, Bobby retreats to the family garage to experiment with his guitar, only for thunder, smoke and candlelight to announce Satan, who has heard Bobby's playing in hell and wants to crush him before he can start a band. The devil shreds while Bobby fumbles through tuning and basic chords, then slimes his guitar and sprouts a second pair of arms to play a double-necked instrument. Bobby fights back with a wah-wah pedal, beats off a seductive pin-up poster that comes to life, and grinds his strings with a power drill until Satan spins away in defeat. Victory is short-lived: his mother returns with the bag of garbage he still hasn't taken out.

The funny people

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

Taking crap from my parents is my life, but excellence in the face of rock is my creed.

I must defeat you before you form a band!

I guess I just earned my place in rock and roll heaven by sending Satan back to rock and roll hell.
