The premise

Here’s the bit.

After brushing off an impatient customer with a burst of profanity, mechanic Russ turns to the camera to explain that he is more refined than his trade suggests: he loves opera, collects wine and is writing a light opera about an auto shop. His true pride is a mane of long blond hair, kept up to honour his bald mother's advice. His fellow mechanics Miguel and Paulo, once mocking, now squabble over the right way to brush and spray it, turn away a fashion magazine's calls on his behalf, and finish by photographing him striking poses in front of a big shop fan.

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

But I don't think I'm your average grease monkey.

Tell him I'm a mechanic, not a model!

This hair's for us!
