Eddie Murphy reprises his iconic character Mr. Robinson from the classic SNL sketches. Mr. Robinson returns to his old neighborhood only to find it completely gentrified. He introduces his new neighbors Damien and Micah, a pair of wealthy yuppies who paid $1.2 million for an apartment where his friend Frankie used to cook crack. The sketch satirizes urban gentrification while maintaining the beloved Mister Rogers' Neighborhood parody format. Mr. Robinson also receives a call from Patrick, his long-lost son, as a running gag throughout the sketch.

This was Eddie Murphy's return to SNL after 35 years. The episode also featured cameos by Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Maya Rudolph, Jason Sudeikis, Fred Armisen, Alec Baldwin, Larry David, and Rachel Dratch. Musical guest was Lizzo. The sketch had 16.5 million YouTube views and 285K likes as of upload date context.
