The premise
Here’s the bit.
A prince threatens a woman with the long-neglected royal torture chamber after she rejects his proposal. His torturer takes so long to arrive that even getting through the door becomes an ordeal. Attempts with a poker, a mouse and other implements repeatedly go wrong, leaving the prince to suffer much of the trouble. The woman remains unmoved until the prince abandons his pursuit, prompting a final reversal beside the iron maiden.
