Undertakers Sketch
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
A soft-spoken man arrives at a gloomy funeral parlour with his dead mother in a sack. The top-hatted undertaker breezily lists ways to dispose of her, each described in gruesome detail, then peeks into the sack, decides she is young enough to be worth cooking and calls to his offstage assistant to warm the oven. The horrified son protests but soon admits he is a little hungry, and agrees once the undertaker offers a grave to be sick into afterwards. Meanwhile the studio audience grows increasingly vocal in disgust until a crowd storms the set as the closing credits roll.
