"Gremlins 2" Brainstorm

In this sketch, a flamboyant and eccentric Hollywood "sequel doctor" (Jordan Peele) is brought in to help brainstorm ideas for the movie "Gremlins 2: The New Batch." He proceeds to pitch a series of increasingly bizarre and outlandish ideas for new gremlins, leaving the original writers (played by Keegan-Michael Key and others) in a state of confused silence. The sketch humorously satirizes the often-criticized "more is more" approach to movie sequels, and the out-of-touch nature of some Hollywood executives. The sketch is also notable for the fact that Gremlins 2 director Joe Dante has said that the sketch is "completely accurate" to how the movie was actually made.
