Asian Top Gear
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
In a spoof of the BBC's Top Gear, the presenter sets out to discover what the Asian motorist looks for in a car and visits a suburban couple to inspect their pride and joy. Their small, ageing saloon is hailed as a spacious people carrier: the boot is packed for trips to the cash and carry, the standard extras run to a decorative tissue box, and the safety feature turns out to be a glove compartment that opens onto a little shrine. Asked how many it seats, the couple say twelve, and the whole extended family duly crams in before the car pulls away.

Highly quotable.
Now, we all know about Italian flair and Japanese reliability, but what about the Asian motorist?
In the case of an accident, the glove compartment drops open and we all start praying.
What a charming, pious touch.
The rabbit hole continues
One more couldn’t hurt.
