Super Dog
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Picking up after the Presidential Props debate, Senator Moyer, still in his suit and red tie but now in blue glitter face paint, takes the stage at a packed nightclub to dedicate a song to a very special guest. Senator Patton sweeps in wearing an Uncle Sam hat, star sunglasses, a cape and patriotic spandex, carrying his tiny caped French bulldog. Moyer's anthem builds the dog up from party animal to ladies' man to deity, and the dancers fall to their knees in prayer, crowd in for pictures and pat its head, with Patton at one point sporting a papal mitre, until the whole club is begging the dog to bless its crops and keep the music going.
