Vampire Nightclub
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
In a crowded queue outside a club, one of a pair of ornately dressed vampires delivers a florid gothic seduction to a young woman, who is simply unnerved by it. Undaunted, the two aristocrats sweep up to the door and grandly request admission, only to be turned away. Their antique pedigree, priceless footwear and famous past acquaintances count for nothing, while regulars with the right names stroll straight in. A string of increasingly flimsy claims about guest lists, press credentials and a brother who supposedly works the decks fares no better. When the bouncer loses patience, a grandiose threat ends with one vampire flat on the pavement and the pair quietly settling for a far less glamorous place to spend the evening.

Say it with us
Highly quotable.
Come, let us fly like the sparks from Vulcan's very anvil.
These were created by Puccini's personal shoemaker in 1884.
Perhaps we could have a little sit down in Subway for half an hour.
The rabbit hole continues
One more couldn’t hurt.
