The premise

Here’s the bit.

The bride's mother proudly introduces singer Melody Warble and her guitarist Thad to entertain at her daughter Julie's reception. Their first-dance number mocks the groom's appearance, so the mother steers them toward the grandparents, who are treated to a ballad about how ancient they look. Asked for something everyone can dance to, the duo calls a square dance whose instructions grow steadily more violent until the whole reception is pulling hair, barking and wrestling on the dance floor.

Highly quotable.

You married an ugly guy

I realize Donald is a little odd-looking—

Maybe it wasn't a good idea to sing to the elderly.
