The premise

Here’s the bit.

Dan, an actor in a dressing gown, walks a cavernous studio with his director and nervously confirms that he is wearing nothing underneath, hoping the bath for his scene will not be cold. The director has news: the bath is out, and Dan will instead be tied naked to the Wheel of Doom and revolved, because it looks more visually interesting. Dan notices a gathering of strangers watching from the shadows and is assured they are just random people, then is hurried toward the wheel because the crew is short of time. Before stripping off he asks the cameraman to frame him only from the chest up and is cheerfully promised that he will, but a look at the monitor shows the shot is far wider.

  7. 00:16

    Director

Well, that's what I meant to talk to you about, Dan.

  8. 00:25

    Director

I thought that Rather than your character getting into a bath, what would be better is that if your character was still naked, but instead of getting into a bath, getting tied to the Wheel of Doom. Which is then revolved.

  9. 00:43

    Dan

    What, why the change?

  10. 00:44

    Director

  11. 00:47

    Dan

  13. 00:57

    Dan

    Right.

  14. 00:58

    Director

So we're a little bit pushed for time down, so if you could just slip out of your dressing gown and get yourself tied to the wheel of doom, we'll start filming.

  15. 01:08

    Dan

Oh, OK. Okay. Um, Kevin, you are just filming me from here up, yeah?

  16. 01:24

    Absolutely, Dan. Don't you worry.

  17. 01:29

    Dan

    Oh, okay.
