The premise
Here’s the bit.
Alan is given a green clarinet that forces people to reveal embarrassing truths. He uses it to get his shopping paid for, secure a pay rise and bypass a restaurant’s booking policy. When the mysterious donor returns to reclaim the instrument, Alan turns its power against him, leaving another magical gift to settle the score.
