The premise

Here’s the bit.

A priest invites relatives to share memories of Grandma Louise, but her adult grandchildren keep replacing their eulogies with performances. Trish struggles through a piano number, Claire seizes the microphone for a pop routine, and Luke brings a puppet into the family rivalry. Their father Peter demands some decorum before unveiling an alarming tribute of his own.

Highly quotable.

Oh my gosh, Trish, just let me mourn!

So I brought my fire batons to help me process.

A little extra

Notes from the archive.

Trish’s piano tribute is a hesitant rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”
