The premise

Here’s the bit.

After a body turns up and a note promises more murders before help can arrive, the guests at a remote cabin gather to work out which of them is the killer. Their self-appointed leader runs through the suspects, a spoiled rich girl and a hunter who kills for sport, before landing on James, whose only suspicious trait is being single. Every theory about motive and personality keeps circling back to his love life, and when he notes that a newly widowed friend is single too, they treat that as further proof. James protests that single people are not second-class citizens, but the conversation turns into matchmaking, until one woman offers to set him up with her cousin and casually lets slip that she murdered her as well, a confession nobody notices because they are too busy pushing James toward her aunt.

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

We either survive together or die alone, like James.

That's a very single thing to say!

No, I killed her too.
