The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Miss Jones brings her client to a secluded cabin after dark for a property showing. When a zombie lurches out of the trees she hurries him inside, and every crisis that follows becomes another excuse to get closer: she rubs his arms while he braces the door, blames the dead power on the zombies and produces a roomful of lit candles, steers him away from a room full of weapons into a cramped closet, and unpacks sparkling cider and glazed salmon while quizzing him about his family. Just as he admits he feels close to her, one of the zombies wanders in, tells Mal it is ten o'clock and the group is heading out, giving away that the attack was staged. The zombies shuffle off and she goes back to pressing him to try the salmon.

Say it with us
Highly quotable.
Those zombies must have chewed through the power lines, those dang zombies.
It's got problems, asbestos and brimstone.
Hey Mal, it's 10 o'clock, so we're gonna get going.

Client
This is the property you wanted to show me? It's a little secluded. Is there a reason you wanted to meet up so late? And alone?
- 00:15
Miss Jones
Well, you know, I'm your real estate agent. I am always on duty. I work all hours for you. I'd do anything for you. You know, and plus it's kind of romantic. You know, just if you want, maybe.
- 00:27
Client
Sure. Miss Jones, I feel like I should tell you...
- 00:31
Miss Jones
Oh, what the... Quick, Quick, inside the cabin!
- 00:38
Client
What? No, shouldn't we just drive away?
- 00:39
Miss Jones
Oh, oh no! The brakes are out and we can't!
- 00:46
Client
Now we gotta get this door closed!
- 00:49
Miss Jones
Let me help you, just... Nice.
- 00:52
Client
What? How is this helping?
- 00:54
Miss Jones
Just warming up your muscles. Soft. soft. Okay.
- 01:02
Client
Great, no electricity.
- 01:03
Miss Jones
Those zombies must have chewed through the power lines, those dang zombies.
- 01:08
Client
What? How did they get all the way up there?
- 01:10
Miss Jones
It's a good thing I have all these candles, right?
- 01:13
Client ?
How did you light all of those so quickly? Ah! Ah! Run! Oh, Oh, perfect. We can use these weapons to defend ourselves.
- 01:28
Miss Jones
Oh, you know, this room's no good. It's got problems, asbestos and brimstone. This way, this way.
- 01:38
Client
Well, great. Well, great. I'm glad we ended up in this insanely small closet instead.
- 01:44
Miss Jones
Oh, you're right. It's like ice in here, so... Oh, this is nice.
- 01:51
Client ?
Oh, God. I'm so thirsty.
- 01:54
Miss Jones
Oh, I might be able to find something, maybe. I don't know. Like... Oh, sparkling cider and, um, a salmon with a honey lemon glaze. Who knew, you know? So, what are your parents like?
- 02:08
Client
What?
- 02:08
Miss Jones
Oh, they're not going to get in here. This is tree wood. So, did you have any siblings? Where did you grow up?
- 02:17
Client
Okay, Miss Jones, now is not the time.
- 02:19
Miss Jones
You really should try the salmon, though. It's good.
- 02:21
Client
What? No, no.
- 02:22
Miss Jones
It's really good.
- 02:23
Client
Shh.
- 02:24
Miss Jones
Oh, just, you can just whisper it to me. What is it?
- 02:27
Client
I think they might be leaving.
- 02:29
Miss Jones
Looks OK. Looks like the coast is clear. like the coast is clear.
- 02:39
Client
You know, Miss Jones, after all we've been through, I feel really close to you.
- 02:46
Zombie
Hey Mel, it's 10 o'clock so we're gonna get going.
- 02:55
Zombie ?
Calls are bad. Just
- 03:00
What's wrong with you?
- 03:05
Miss Jones
