The premise
Here’s the bit.
Sir Simon Milligan introduces a restaurant as the latest location for his occult program and tries to impress Helen Bathgate over dinner. Hecubus interrupts with an embarrassing delivery and settles in beside his master. Helen’s prejudices create a dilemma for Simon, whose attempts to salvage the evening grow more desperate. A supposed supernatural shortcut fails, leaving the two men to find a small consolation in his unsuccessful date.
