The premise

Here’s the bit.

Freddie visits his mother in hospice, but the nurse’s warning about her remaining time clashes with his tickets to a Jelly Roll concert in Las Vegas. As he weighs the decision, a series of imagined visitors encourages him to attend. Celebrity reassurance, divine approval and a prospective romance make his choice easier, until his mother joins the visions and their upbeat advice hints at another death approaching.
