Penny Marshall's The Exorcist
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
In a mock HBO First Look featurette, Penny Marshall explains that her new coming-of-age picture mirrors her own teenage years, so she has cast Rosie O'Donnell as her younger self in a remake of The Exorcist. Interview snippets with a gushing Rosie and an excitable Arnold Schwarzenegger alternate with clips from the film, in which Rosie's possessed girl thrashes and spews in bed while Penny plays the worried mother, until Arnold's priest arrives to save her. When the crucifix fails, he swaps in a water pistol loaded with holy water and a catchphrase, while the stars insist the movie is really a metaphor for growing up.

I was possessed by a demon for eight years.
This movie is going to be funnier than Kindergarten Cop. It's going to be bigger than Big.
