The premise

Here’s the bit.

After a long wait, three friends board Cellblock 666, a haunted-prison ride whose guard promises cells full of famous movie monsters. Michael Myers, Annabelle, Pennywise and Freddy Krueger each get a quick scare, but most cells open on David S. Pumpkins and his two dancing skeletons, who mug, dance and quiz the riders without ever explaining who he is. One rider becomes a fan while his friend grows fixated on the ride's lack of consistency, until the guard admits the budget ran out after paying for the real monsters and the finale cell holds only the skeletons.

Highly quotable.

Taking it one day at a time.

Sir, why is there so much David Pumpkins in this?

We spent a lot of money on Pennywise and Freddy Krueger, okay?

A little extra

Notes from the archive.

Tom Hanks returned as David S. Pumpkins in Jack Harlow's Halloween episode, with former cast member Bobby Moynihan rejoining Mikey Day as the dancing skeletons from the 2016 original.

The rabbit hole continues

One more couldn’t hurt.
