The premise
Here’s the bit.
Colin Jost welcomes the Devil back to Weekend Update after several years away, and the red-caped guest explains that business has been booming. He runs through a list of side projects from natural disasters to a social app for children, describes Florida as his testing ground, claims credit for recent sports results and keeps a famous quarterback's soul in a portrait. A text from a disgraced royal interrupts him, and he takes ownership of cryptocurrency, vaping and pop-up web ads. When Jost asks about QAnon, the Devil angrily disowns the conspiracy theorists and turns on Jost with jabs about his marriage before calming down to gush about a memorable lap dance, as Michael Che joins the sign-off.
