Psychic Medium

A skeptical husband, his wife and another client gather around a crystal ball hoping to reach departed relatives. Their turbaned medium soon admits he used to be a 1980s impressionist, and every spirit he summons happens to be someone from his old act, from Jimmy Stewart and Billie Holiday to a very much alive Alan Thicke and a pair of Muppets. The husband is thrilled by the show, but his wife, who only wants to hear from her late father, finally storms out, leaving the last client to request a relative the psychic cannot impersonate.

Jim Carrey, who began his career as a stand-up impressionist, plays a former 1980s celebrity impressionist whose "spirits" are all impressions from his old act.
