Devil Can't Write No Love Song
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
After losing his job and being dumped by his girlfriend, Milo Jenkins decides that a hit song would fix his life and offers his soul in exchange. Lucifer arrives ready to deliver, but his grand promises lead to a succession of tuneless, ridiculous compositions. As Milo questions the bargain, the Devil becomes defensive about his guitar and increasingly desperate to impress him. The supernatural negotiation turns into an awkward visit from an insecure musician. When Lucifer finally admits defeat and leaves, Milo finds inspiration in the encounter itself.
