Opening with a theme sequence built from Chance cards and a game board, this legal-drama spoof is set in a police station where two officers are grilling Angel Carasco, a smirking suspect in a red jacket. His attorney soon arrives: Mr. Monopoly himself, complete with top hat, white moustache, gloves and a briefcase. Treating the arrest like a turn of the board game, the lawyer argues the case with property talk and game cards, and one of the officers lets slip that he grew up on Baltic Avenue. Mr. Monopoly finally produces the card that springs his client, leaving the two cops empty-handed. The live broadcast became notorious because Damon Wayans, without telling anyone, played his officer as a flamboyant stereotype rather than as rehearsed, and was fired after the show.
