Judy Miller comes home in her Brownie uniform and finds herself stuck in her room while her mother entertains downstairs. She makes her own entertainment, turning stuffed animals into an audience and improvising a television show. A pretend wedding gives way to a commercial, feuding royalty, and a ballet performance, with the bed and door taking the brunt of her restless energy. Her mother's calls for quiet briefly rein her in, until she tries to squeeze one last act into the show.
