The premise
Here’s the bit.
Gavin declines an unsolicited travel offer, only to discover that the caller has hung up on him. He calls back to complain, and the salesman keeps cutting him off and questioning whether he could afford the trip. Each exchange makes Gavin more determined to win the argument. Eventually he demands five packages and supplies his payment details, treating the purchase as a victory. Back at the call center, the salesman and a coworker congratulate themselves on their new approach before the next call begins.
