The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
A white-haired spokesman walks through a dusty village, asking viewers what it takes to protect children from violence and forced recruitment, then reveals his answer: a donated fake beard, with a cane available for a little extra. When a warlord's truck rolls in, the villagers scramble to disguise every child as an elderly person. The commander squints at a boy hidden behind an enormous grey beard and decides the village holds only old people, then pauses to size up the spokesman himself, tugging at his real whiskers before he and his fighters drive off. The appeal closes on a field of bearded, cane-wielding kids and a hotline number.

Highly quotable.
What if I told you that all it took was just one beard?
And for a little more, you can get him a cane.
These are all old people. We are wasting our time.
