The premise

Here’s the bit.

In a dim, horror-lit morgue, a man in dark glasses is asked to confirm the identity of a body under a sheet. He keeps declaring that it is definitely him, then reaching back for one more feel of the face and chest, while the patient attendant reassures him there is no rush. When the attendant finally presses him to decide, the visit collapses into a chain of confessions: the visitor can see perfectly well, the attendant is no mortician, and the supposed corpse is very much alive and in no hurry for the groping to end.

Highly quotable.

Oh, I'm not blind.

Oh, thank God, I'm not a mortician.

And I'm not dead. But please don't stop on my account.
