The premise

Here’s the bit.

At a New York nightclub in 1963, rival singers Rex the Bone Daddy Ronson and Teddy 12 Combs Lewis take their disagreement over a woman onto the stage. They weave insults into their scat performance, escalating from personal digs to an elaborate musical exchange of abuse. The woman eventually joins them at the microphone and offers her own response. The pair leave together while she continues the performance.
