The premise

Here’s the bit.

At a French restaurant, a confident boyfriend offers to handle the ordering for his date. Their waiter describes the specials in an increasingly elaborate stream of French, leaving the boyfriend nodding along without understanding. His date joins the conversation and turns to him for the final choice. He tries to disguise his confusion with improvised sounds before giving up and walking away from the table.
