The premise

Here’s the bit.

A mock record advertisement offers Christmas standards performed by the soul-singing duo Cephus and Reesie. Their vocal flourishes and interruptions turn Deck the Halls into a 24-minute performance and Silent Night into a 49-minute one. An eight-CD version of The Twelve Days of Christmas substitutes a feast of foods for the familiar gifts, while the singers struggle to get through the count. The sales pitch promises enough music to last for years after a single play.
