The premise
Here’s the bit.
At parents’ evening, Kevin dismisses a teacher’s constructive criticism and encounters his much more sociable friend Perry. The next meeting reveals why Kevin cannot concentrate in English: he is transfixed by Miss Baxter. His father’s reaction to the same teacher turns the supposedly responsible adult into another distracted schoolboy.
