Tim Nice-But-Dim's School Reunion
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Proudly wearing his old school tie, Tim Nice-But-Dim turns up at an old boys' reunion and accepts a sherry from a pupil, only to panic like a guilty schoolboy when the headmaster approaches. The headmaster has no memory of him, so Tim helpfully recites his long career at the school, including years of retakes, and reports that his best friend's main achievement since leaving is a moustache. Introduced to a former classmate, Tim insists the man is someone else entirely and will not accept his actual name, then recounts the thrilling meal he had on the day he left. Reminiscing about how the grounds have changed, Tim describes buildings in all the wrong places until the headmaster points out that he has come to the wrong school altogether, which does nothing to dampen his enthusiasm.

Highly quotable.
If my breath smells of sherry, it's because I've been eating wine gums.
He's grown a moustache, sir.
It turns one's chips pink.
