Cat & Mouse Punch Up

Three friends and their companion, a man in a full mouse costume, are swapping holiday stories in a pub when their acquaintance Brian arrives dressed as a cat. Small talk about a film he has just seen soon curdles into sneering, a jibe about cheese and a challenge across the table. The pair go for each other, and the fight spills out of the pub onto the night-time street, where friends and passers-by try to drag the cat and mouse apart while the two keep lunging and swearing. Everyone plays the scuffle with total realism, as an ordinary Friday-night punch-up, and the animal costumes are never remarked on.
