Ms. Swan Rents a Scary Movie

On Halloween night, store manager Taffy is shutting down the video rental shop so she can get to her costume party, only to discover Ms. Swan still browsing the shelves. Ms. Swan cannot name the film she wants beyond vague hints, rejects Taffy's suggestions, and finally settles on a horror movie that also has dancing. The checkout drags on as Ms. Swan cannot grasp the membership card, insists her long-overdue dog-movie rental was returned, and turns every demand into a compliment. Worn down, Taffy pays the late fees herself and ends up inviting her lonely customer to the party, which only prompts a fresh round of costume confusion.
