The premise
Here’s the bit.
Hugh Laurie conducts a straight-faced celebrity interview with Stephen Fry playing Michael Jackson. The guest chats about his new album, his clothes and rumours about his changing appearance, offering increasingly ordinary explanations for his superstar image. A childhood photograph makes the resemblance problem impossible to ignore. The interview then gives way to a pop-song performance, with Fry keeping his tweed outfit as Laurie and two dancers join the routine.
