Salame

After Tim misses work, Eric rebrands the show as Eric Wareheim's Awesome Show. David Liebe Hart sings about extraterrestrial life and teaches the word 'Salame'. Tim and Eric hold a seminar on how to begin a successful career in writing sitcoms, during which Tim meets his wife. Steve Mahanahan advertises his Child-Clown Outlet while his brother Mike advertises his Child Clown Shoes Outlet. 'Weird Al' Yankovic plays Simon, who escorts a group of old women into a church in the 'Here She Comes' segment, with Bob Odenkirk as the singer. Tim gets a haircut similar to Tom. The Canadian Flag is shown to have multiple uses as decoration. Casey and his Brother perform Cops and Robbers.

This episode is titled 'Sitcom' on the Season 1 DVD but is also known as 'Salame' after the David Liebe Hart segment. It originally aired on March 4, 2007 (production code 104). The episode features 'Weird Al' Yankovic in a recurring role as Simon on 'Uncle Muscles Hour', one of the show's signature segments. Bob Odenkirk appears as a recurring guest throughout the series. The episode was re-uploaded to Adult Swim's website in 2025.
