The premise
Here’s the bit.
Brian ruins a customer’s lunch, then refuses a refund and pretends to be the manager. A witness interrupts his denial, so Brian switches to forced friendliness and increasingly implausible excuses. When the real manager orders him home and finally fires him, Brian keeps bargaining until his exit supplies a second demonstration of the problem.
