The premise

Here’s the bit.

An unusually prolonged earthquake makes simple household tasks difficult, but the local news team keeps reporting from the shaking town. A falling studio light leads the anchor to swear on air, turning the disaster coverage into an indecency trial that proceeds through the tremors. When the ground finally settles, the courtroom celebrates with a round of sodas that have endured the same relentless shaking.

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

This earthquake's really taking a long time.

And astronauts were not even asked about it.

I declare sodas for everybody.

A little extra

Notes from the archive.
