The premise
Here’s the bit.
At a poetry-and-music open mic, a guitarist strums a song while his pet dolphin, a performer slumped back in a chair with flapping hands, provides the accompaniment. The audience shouts the act off the stage, and the guitarist loses patience, defends his artistic experiment, coaxes the dolphin through one more verse, then storms out with his companion as the heckling continues.
