The premise
Here’s the bit.
Over dinner, Zach tells his girlfriend that recent tests have revealed a brain tumor. She promises to stay with him, but his admission that it cannot be treated sends them both into sobs. Their waiter interrupts to describe the evening’s dishes, casually including a chowder with a rather extraordinary benefit. The couple quickly finds a new reason to appreciate their restaurant.
