The premise

Here’s the bit.

A new waiter checks on a delayed dessert and learns about the chef’s carefully arranged mousse and sorbet. Suggestions for more sauce lead the staff into a detailed discussion of plate space, chocolate dusting and thumb placement. They imagine a disastrous serving method, concede that the design needs another meeting, and finally deliver the dessert—only for the customer to spot the same problem.
