The Family: Teacher's Dilemma

Miss Collins calls Eunice and Ed to school to discuss their son Bubba’s bullying, but Mama comes along and the meeting turns into a family quarrel. Each adult blames someone else as old grievances, harsh discipline and favoritism crowd out concern for the boy. After repeatedly losing control of her classroom, the teacher treats the visitors like unruly pupils and demands that they give Bubba the care he needs.

Bubba, whose behavior prompts the conference, is discussed throughout but never appears on screen.
